Hello, South Park Fans! What a year it's been! New games, new season, new admins! In this blog, I will examine all the events of this year.
South Park[]
New Season[]
This year saw the premiere of season 21, a season that was announced to have no serialization and no Trump. The season seemed to contradict this, with an ongoing storyline about Cartman and Heidi's controversial relationship, plus various appearances of Mr. Garrison, Trump's counterpart. For the first time in 4 years, we had a Halloween special, this time about witches. I wasn't overall fond of this season, but the other admins seemed to like it, so I guess I'm a bit like Kyle in all of this (but without the nuking).
The Fractured but Whole[]
After what felt like centuries of waiting, the fractured but whole was finally released in October. The game saw the return of many old favorites, including Dr. Alphonse Mephesto, Kyle Schwartz and Towelie. It was, however, missing many great characters, including Garrison. A danger deck was released in December, whereby you can fight many different enemies from the game again.
Phone Destroyerrrrrrrrrr[]
A South Park mobile game was also released this year. Phone Destroyerrrr is a card game where you fight against characters with characters in your own deck, such as Sheriff Cartman, Program Stan, Hermes Kenny, Paladin Butters, Manbearpig and so much more, with new cards being added frequently. The game also has a PvP mode, where you fight against other players around the world. Warning: The Game Is Freemium

South Park celebrated its 20th anniversary this year in August. Also, a competition has been started for someone to be in a south park episode.

A Change In Power[]
In May, Manic The Hedgehog retired from the wiki. He was a great admin in his time and will be missed. HighJewElfKing was then promoted to bureaucrat. In June, PissCoveredOcelot was promoted to admin and, in July, the same occurred for Jackstanbrah. Then, in November, I was made into an assistant bureaucrat. Now, we have an amazing admin team, possibly the greatest the wiki has ever seen. Also, we got our first discord moderator, Spaceman Doug. He does an amazing job keeping the discord a happy place
New Features[]
This year, we got a great new logo, created by our very own Jackstanbrah. Also, we got a quiz feature, created originally for the 20th anniversary. FANDOM released some new features. Firstly, a new header, as you can see above. This, in my opinion, is a great improvement on the old one.
Videos[]
FANDOM released videos on the wiki without any warning. This angered the admins, who debated with them. We finally came to a deal whereby the video scripts would be written by the admins. You can see this on the Eric Cartman and Kenny McCormick pages. This was the first instance of this, which caused the wiki to increase in popularity.
Gossip column[]
- Jackstanbrah and PissCoveredOcelot have become a couple. The two are soooo cute together and I hope the relationship continues forever.
- We're getting a spotlight in January. For those who don't know, a spotlight is an advertisements for a wiki, that can be seen at the bottom of the page.
- We got a Twitter, created by me!... which we completely forgot about.We hope to revive it in the new year though.
- The group photo for 2017 has been made, thanks to Spaceman Doug. This can be seen below.
