Talk:Imaginationland

From South Park Archives

This episode and its sequel/continuation made it obvious to me that South Park episodes from here on were going to be shitty. The only recent episode that I can say I liked was the bounty hunter episode. Aside from that, the show has become a bit mediocre, sadly.

Talk pages are for discussing editing and article status, not a general discussion on South Park. Mr. Garrison 17:20, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Character List

Hey, all. I've been playing the character hunting game in Imaginationland (both versions) recently, and the lists here look like they still need a bit of work in various capacities. First off, the lists are currently spread out over three articles. It might be a better idea to just condense them into one. Second, a lot of the entries seem highly dubious; I'm starting to wonder where some of these characters could be hiding, unless they appear in single frames or they're only visible if you're viewing the show in high definition or something. Others seem to just be mistaken identity (e.g., Sauron somehow getting mistaken for Darth Vader and Niblett getting mistaken for a chocobo). Everyone ought to be reconfirmed in order to stay on the list, though. (I've been isolating characters from screenshots, which ought to be a help. So far, about 175 identified, 100 unidentified.)

Any thoughts? --Reichu 02:09, 27 November 2008 (UTC)

That all seems reasonable to me. We can't have something in the list if we can't confirm it. I'm all for a separate page. It sounds like a great idea.—Matt (talk) 06:13, November 27, 2008 (UTC)
Alright, I've started up a page here, complete with footnotes that don't show up. The next thing I was going to do (aside from maybe getting those footnotes working...) is shift over the character lists from the three episode pages, merging the "good entries" into the article, and compiling the "bad" or dubious ones on the Discussion page for further... discussion. --Reichu 22:52, 28 November 2008 (UTC)
Okay, the footnotes are working now. It is odd that we had a template in the edit tools that didn't exist. But I made it. So it will work now.—Matt (talk) 23:00, November 28, 2008 (UTC)
