Appearances
First Starvin' Marvin
Starvin' Marvin is a character in the series South Park. He is a thin little boy from Ethiopia, who first appeared in the episode Starvin' Marvin. He doesn't know English, but he learns in this episode how to say a few phrases, such as "Sweet!" or, "Yeah, I want the Cheesy Poofs!". He also learned how to say his name (the name the boys had given him). The boys were intrigued by the clicking sounds of Starvin' Marvin's language (which actually more resembles the Khoisan languages of Southern Africa.)

In his first appearance, Marvin was accidentally shipped over to the boys, who then took him into their custody, and tried to teach him the ways of the Americans. But they were found out, and forced to return him to Ethiopia. In his second (and currently last) appearance, Marvin got a hold of a rocket ship, which he and the boys used to travel to outer space. Later in this episode, Marvin brought all of the other Ethiopians to the paradise planet "Marklar". Later, Marvin makes a very small cameo in the 100th episode, "I'm a Little Bit Country". He is within a large crowd at the very end.
