Season Eight originally aired in 2004. It began on March 17th and the first half ended on April 28th. The second half began on October 27th and ended on December 15th.

This season begins the tradition of fourteen episodes per season, this style continues to the present day. This season is the last (to date) to feature a Christmas special, "Woodland Critter Christmas".

This season features an episode, "Good Times with Weapons", produced partly in anime, this is similar to the Season Ten episode "Make Love, Not Warcraft". The style of episodes in this season tend to consist of more parodies than character based stories.
