List of Minor Characters from Season Three

From South Park Archives

This page is for minor characters from the third season of South Park.

Contents

[edit] Jake

Jake was a member of the "Getting Gay With Kids" choir, shown in "Rainforest Schmainforest". His appearance was short-lived, however, as he got too close to a carnivorous flower and became its prey. Though Ms.Stevens tried to pull him out, it seemed she didn't succeed as Jake wasn't seen again (except in a few shots due to an animator's error).

Despite this, Jake cameod in South Park: Bigger, Longer, And Uncut (most notably at the "La Resistance" meeting, which he left due to there being no "punch and pie"), at the dance in "Hooked on Monkey Phonics", and as a prisoner at Alamosa Juvenile Hall in "Cartman's Silly Hate Crime 2000".

Jake had short, grayish-brown hair, had freckles, and wore a green sweater and brown pants. In Bigger, Longer, And Uncut, he wore a yellow sweater.

[edit] Kelly

South Park character

Kelly
Gender Female
Hair Blonde
Age 9
Job Student
Religion Unknown
Voiced by Toddy Walters
Appearances
First "Rainforest Schmainforest"

Kelly (voiced by Toddy Walters) first appeared in "Rainforest Schmainforest". She fell in love with Kenny in this episode but she didn't want to get close to him since they live in opposite sides of the country. She did get close to him, though, and, as depicted in "Spontaneous Combustion", their relationship continued to the point where Kenny was going to take the bus to see her. Despite this, she never gets Kenny's name right, referring to him with similar-sounding names such as "Lenny", "Benny", etc. She has a bad nose-picking habit.

She has blonde hair tied back in a ponytail, and wears a blue sweater with green trimming, and a flower embroidered on one side, and dark blue pants. The band which ties her hair back is mid-green.

She apparently knows CPR, because in "Rainforest Schmainforest", she saved Kenny from dying after he is struck by lightning by giving him mouth-to-mouth recessitation. Because of this act, Kelly should be noted as the first character on the show to actually care about Kenny's death, question who Stan and Kyle are talking about when they say "They killed Kenny," and do something to try and help him.

She also must have at least some talent in singing and dancing, as she sang and danced in the "Getting Gay with Kids" choir.

Kelly also appeared in South Park: Bigger, Longer, And Uncut, watching "Asses Of Fire". Her last cameo on the show to date was in "Hooked on Monkey Phonics", at the school dance.

[edit] Mark and Rebecca Cotswolds

Main article: Mark and Rebecca Cotswolds

Mark and Rebecca (respectively voiced by Trey Parker and Mary Kay Bergman) were a pair of homeschooled siblings that took part in (and won) the 15th Annual South Park Spelling Bee in "Hooked On Monkey Phonics".

While Mark struggled to fit in at public school, Rebecca became the oblivious love interest of Kyle Broflovski.

[edit] Mr. Derp

Mr. Derp replaced Chef for a short time in "The Succubus", telling the boys Chef quit due to marriage. He wears an apron which reads, "come an' get it!" Mr. Derp is into Slapstick humor, which is painful, physical humor. His name, according to the commentary on the episode, comes from a word invented by Trey Parker and Matt Stone themselves, which they say means "an obvious joke" or is said when they do something dumb. Mr. Derp also made a brief cameo in Timmy 2000 as the man in charge of the lemonade stand at the concert.

After Chefs demise he may be his replacement as he was seen in the background in Eek, a Penis!

[edit] Pearl

Pearl is South Park Elementary's home economics Teacher. She speaks with a soft, gentle voice and does her job with plenty of knowledge yet judging by her lessons she follows stereotypical beliefs. She is good with chat up lines, as she is shown to come up with them and then have her students recite them in their lessons. She dates Richard Adler, and she wanted to sleep with him in the episode "Tweek vs. Craig". He refused, because he had recently lost his wife and was mourning her death instead of moving on.

She has black hair and wears a pink dress with a reddish-purple sash beneath the bust line.

[edit] Skyler

South Park character
Skyler
Gender Male
Hair Black
Age 22
Job Musician
Religion Unknown
Voiced by Trey Parker
Appearances
First "Cat Orgy"

Skyler is a member of the band "Lords of the Underworld" (briefly Timmy and the Lords of the Underworld) and has been seen on two occasions.

In his first appearance, "Cat Orgy", Skyler is seen as Shelley Marsh's boyfriend who she invites round while babysitting Eric Cartman. He invited his band along. Skyler only wanted Shelley for sex, and because of a huge age difference Shelley was reluctant (Shelley is 12 and he is in his 20s). After she refused to have sex he dumped her. Cartman helped her get revenge by trashing his guitar. When he angrily returned to Cartman's house while Shelley was still there, Cartman threw catnip at him, attracting Cartman's cat Mr. Kitty and other neighborhood felines. The cats pounced at Skyler, who was quoted as saying "They ripped my penis off!".

Skyler was not seen again until "Timmy 2000", in which his band needed "something" to help them win battle of the bands. They then found Timmy, who turned out to be a great singer despite only being able to shout his name. Jealous of Timmy's popularity (thanks to a discussion started by Phil Collins), Skyler left the band to pursue a solo career titled "Reach for the Skyler". He later rejoined though, and they performed at the South Park Battle of the Bands.

[edit] Tommy

South Park character

Tommy
Gender Male
Hair Brown
Age 9
Job Student
Religion Unknown
Appearances
First "Tweek vs. Craig"

Tommy first appeared in "Tweek vs. Craig". He was in shop class and got his face caught in the sander, removing it. In a later scene his face returned, apparently unharmed, or repaired. This is his only appearance, other than in the background of a few other episodes, including "Mr. Hankey's Christmas Classics", where he was shown with Sally and a couple that were presumably his parents.

He has brown hair, and wears an orange shirt and brown trousers. At first he appeared with absolutely nothing where his face would have been, but while watching Tweek and Craig fight, his face was shown.
