Jason is a character in the animated series "South Park". He has spoken on several occasions and is voiced by Trey Parker.
Originally a background character (which he still is most of the time), Jason made his debut in the episode "Professor Chaos" as one of the kids competing to replace Butters Stotch as Stanley Marsh, Kyle Broflovski, and Eric Cartman's friend. Jason made it through the general friendship round, but was eliminated after the classroom round.
Jason was also prominent in the first part of the Fall 2003 run-opening episode "South Park is Gay!", where he is part of a metrosexual gang along with Craig, Token Black and Tweek. He was also part of the group who helped recover the "Cootie Catcher" in "Marjorine", waiting with Timmy outside the containment center for the rest of the boys to return.
He was ranked #5 in The List.
A Hasidic boy who resembled Jason appeared in the cafeteria in Cartman Gets An Anal Probe and in An Elephant Makes Love to a Pig.

Jason has brown hair with sideburns and a high forehead, and wears a purple top and a pair of blue jeans (they were originally dark gray). His character is based on Jason McHugh, who was featured with Trey Parker and Matt Stone in Cannibal! The Musical and Orgazmo.
