Eliza Jane Schneider served as the voice actress for most female characters in South Park when she replaced Mary Kay Bergman from Season Four onward until she left the show during Season Seven (1999 - 2003). According to an interview, she left over a contract dispute. "I asked for a union contract, played hardball, and walked," she told a journalist years later. She was replaced by current voice actress April Stewart.
