The Cowboys and Indian Shorts were pre-episode bumpers for "Pinkeye" through "Mecha-Streisand". It was first released on the VHS volumes, and then on the First Season DVD.

In the bumpers, Trey Parker and Matt Stone are dressed as cowboys and talk in the stereotypical cowboy accent. They are accompanied by a stereotypical Native American named "Indian Companion", who is very cryptic. Again, like other pre-episode bumpers, they mockingly explain what the episode is about. Matt and Trey usually bully Indian Companion. The shorts are overly grainy and monochrome to reflect that of the old western shows, such as Gunsmoke.
