Anne is one of the popular girls in the fourth grade at South Park Elementary. She is friends with girls like Wendy, Bebe, Rebecca, Heidi, Millie, Lola, Esther, Sally, and in later episodes a new blonde girl, who she was seen in almost every scene of Elementary School Musical standing or sitting with.

She wears a brown blouse and black pants. Her hair is short, (about chin -length) light blonde, and tight-curly. When speaking, she sounds very much like the South Park version of Bart Simpson, seen in "Cartoon Wars Part II".
In Stupid Spoiled Whore Video Playset, she wore an aquamarine tube top, a teal-and-aquamarine wrap skirt, and white shoes.

She is usually seen with the other girls, such as Wendy, Bebe, Heidi, and Sally. She is often seen with Rebecca the most, though.
Though she is depicted as being part of Wendy's group (with Rebecca and Bebe), she tends to take a backseat to other characters at some points (Esther and Millie in Bebe's Boobs Destroy Society, and Lola and Rebecca in The List).

Her name was first heard in "Stupid Spoiled Whore Video Playset", when she was at Stupid Spoiled Whore with Wendy Testaburger, Rebecca, and Bebe Stevens. Before that, she was referred to as "Jordan" in "Conjoined Fetus Lady" (though she was referred to alternately as "Jordan" and as "Annie" in the storyboards for several early episodes). Many of the other background characters have switched between different names quite frequently, so it can be assumed that some of them are middle names (Her full name, therefore, might be "Annabelle Jordan Polk" as Annie is occasionally used to be short for Annabelle)

In Stupid Spoiled Whore Video Playset, she is seen flirting with Kenny McCormick, implying that she may have a crush on him. However, she may have been doing so to be a whore. Also, in Tweek vs. Craig, she is seen saying goodbye to Kenny.

The girl's were commenting on how the boys were so upset that the Terrance and Philip episode was replaced by The Queef Sisters.
